The one-time cash option for Friday s drawing is projected to be around $516.1 million. Each ticket s of winning the jackpot are just one in more than 302.5 million.
Jackpot Narrowly Avoids WinnersMore than 100 tickets almost hit Tuesday night s jackpot. 110 tickets matched five of the six balls.
Four tickets matched all five white balls to claim $1 million prizes. None of those tickets purchased the $1 add-on Megaplier, which would have tripled their payouts to $3 million after the Megaplier landed on 3x. The odds of matching all five white balls are one in 12.6 million.
There were also 116 tickets that matched the four white balls and the gold Mega Ball to win $10K each, the game s third-best prize. The odds of a ticket matching that combination are one in 931K. Thirteen of those tickets had the Megaplier to win $30K.

Price Hike IncomingBeginning in April, the will soar 285% to $5. The number of balls, and therefore the jackpot s odds, will remain the same. Each ticket will come with the Megaplier automatically included, meaning every winning ticket will return more than the original $5 wager.
